Good hotel, simple design, but has everything you need. The decor in the reception/breakfast area is great and the breakfast is good.
Although the location is about a 20 minuet journey from the centre of town, it is right next to the trolly bus station so it is easy to get around. Also right across from the natural baths!

Since it is warmer inside that’s where we went. From this castle Count Urlich went to hunt the wild pig and we saw the wooden animal in the golden room. Except one room the castle is fairly boring, but the golden room is amazing, you can find a lot of little details in this cute painted room and also the comfy looking wedding bed. ...

With the best intentions we took the train from Neuhausen to Metzingen, so that we can walk back home. But stepping out at the train station we discovered it’s actually freezing cold… so we checked out the old train carts and then hopped on the next train back to Neuhausen.
