Yesterday was mainly spent flying or waiting at airports. We did have a short time in Sydney in the morning, and as we sat in Circular Quay a hypnotist made a group of 20 or so people act as zombies, amongst other things. Coming out of the station, it bought you right bang in the city centre and straight along the high street of shops. First stop was the Nespresso coffee store, one of the only in the area which sold the coffee capsules needed for ...

... live on the south side of the river, a bit like Glasgow being divided by the Clyde but with lots of marinas. I took the water taxi over to the city centre where the Christmas decorations were all up, and like all city centres the high rises building (mostly finance business offices) take over.

On my last evening with Clare and Ronny we drove out to one of the beaches for a meal and watched a sunset over the Indian Ocean.
