    ... The wild roses were rampant and I could smell them long before I saw them - I wonder why our wild roses at home don't smell like the French ones. At the top of the hill was a tiny hamlet with a pretty church, it all seemed perfect, and then I drove off and left it all behind!

    ... keeping with the ancient original building, and is home to a seating area, and the guest rooms. Into the original building, and you will find a lovely communal kitchen, a lounge, and a sun terrace.     ... fish dinner by Clive a good end to the day, or so I thought! In the early hours of Sunday morning food poisoning reared its ugly head.
