    Very comfortable, new refurbished room, spacious, great racks for cases, shower lovely, comfortable bed. Extensive breakfast served on 7th floor with harbor views. Good Wifi, staff helpful and friendly, tea/coffee facilities in room.

    Tuesday16th - a 2 hour train journey to Palermo, although Liam is always excited about hopping on trains he is a little over it today due to another early start.     ... street performers. Found a little cafe/bar (ciuri/ciuri) & purchased some drinks, Tim got a beer I got a Caipiroska strawberry, out also came a selection of food, some breads, chips & meat balls, Tim got another drink & out came more food, said we had enough the waiter said NO if you have drinks you must also have food, so had a liquid dinner & we got food by default !

    Walked back on the road still really warm out 29 at 8.30pm.

    ... the easy access to beaches for free camping that we enjoyed in Greece. Sicily has some beautiful beaches, but where we have been, resort tourism and townships hug the small areas of available coastal land.
