Tuesday16th - a 2 hour train journey to Palermo, although Liam is always excited about hopping on trains he is a little over it today due to another early start. The trip was quite picturesque as it followed the north coast and it was nice to see the ocean. Since deciding not to hire a car we chose a little more upmarket hotel. It was a little …

Alison and Scott stay on board and plan their next adventure - off to Venice for a few days ...

Service was also impeccable. We started our meal off with a prosecco for me, and Eldon had a glass of white wine. He then had the four-piece appetizer, and I had the caprese salad. We just can't get over how fresh things are ...

... very good. We hadn't had anything much since 6:00 a.m.

We stopped at one church on the way home,;no great shakes. Got to our hotel and both slept for a little over an hour. We have a lovely hotel room in the heart of old town Palermo. We have all day tomorrow to see Palermo.

We walked to dinner a short distance for our hotel. We got the 4-course meal for one and a small pizza. We also ...
