The end of the season...
... some of the time, and did a lot of reading. As the season ends it feels like everyone is affected with the same mild depression, even, if as for this year, it was a great season. It just feels like the end of everything, as slowly life becomes less about being outdoors, you see all the seasonal workers gradually disappearing, and all the shops and cafés aimed at tourists start to close up for the winter. Meeting the Shaw's
Uneventful short (well shortish) ride to Ron's place.
Ron is another BCF member who has invited me to stay and it was indeed a pleasure to meet him and his wife Christine. Their daughter Jo and partner Kerry were also visiting from England so we all had a great natter and Christine made a lovely dinner. It felt very homely again after 4 days in a tent.
