    ... Brussels today which was pretty great. My guide took me to the part of the original city wall that is still remaining, the famous peeing boy statue and the Palais Du justice. To avoid the monsoon that was occuring outside we did an impromptu tour of the palais Du justice, where the courts are.     Our long day of traveling began with a long morning of getting ready. John made amazing omelettes for breakfast. They had caramelized onions, tomatoes, mushrooms, brie and spices. We also had these little sweet bread slash muffin things called Madeline's(?). Yum. After breakfast we made sandwiches for the train and packed our bags.     ... fair. It stands over 100 meters tall and is shaped as an iron crystal magnified 158 billion times. We didn't go to the top of the Atomium, but it apparently offers quite the panoramic views.

I could see, across the intersection, that one of the streets was named, so we set out in that direction. After getting off the ferry in Rotterdam, me, Olivia, and three others from Georgia Tech Lorraine (GTL) find ourselves in Brussels central station and discover that there are no more trains that day back to Metz (where GTL is).
