We left Smorgasteriet sated and deliriously happy. The cuisine of Stockholm was far more sophisticated and amazing than either of us expected.
This morning we hit the hotel gym to try to burn up some of the calories we so enjoyed last night. If we ate like that often we'd need a cardiologist on speed dial.
... Having crossed over from Oslo and into Sweden's Second City, prices were a complete bargain. Happy hour specials of $6 CAD for a beer, and $7 for a glass of wine? Unheard of in Norway! So not only were we able to enjoy a fine dinner in Gothenburg tonight, but we were also able to do so in luxurious style - with a glass of wine, and finished off by an espresso, and followed up with a gelato at a nearby spot.
