We expected some busy small communities with a few shops and maybe the odd school but but rather found these islands are mostly residential in nature with owners travelling daily to the city for work.     ... so sweet, tart, and delightfully flavorful.

    We left Smorgasteriet sated and deliriously happy. The cuisine of Stockholm was far more sophisticated and amazing than either of us expected.

    This morning we hit the hotel gym to try to burn up some of the calories we so enjoyed last night. If we ate like that often we'd need a cardiologist on speed dial.

    ... Having crossed over from Oslo and into Sweden's Second City, prices were a complete bargain.  Happy hour specials of $6 CAD for a beer, and $7 for a glass of wine?  Unheard of in Norway! So not only were we able to enjoy a fine dinner in Gothenburg tonight, but we were also able to do so in luxurious style - with a glass of wine, and finished off by an espresso, and followed up with a gelato at a nearby spot. All for less than the equivalent meal would have cost back ...

    My name is as you probably figured out by reading the URL of the blog, Emil Tydén.
    I'm a 21 year old boy who lives in Sweden, with both parents and a sister.

    Right now I work as a CNC-operator ( Think big computor controlled machines ), which is also what I am educated to do. I've been working at the company that I am at now, since I got out of school, which is almost 1 & ˝ years ago. Gosh, times is passing fast..

    ... one little incident once we had the anchor off the bottom in that we got very close to it (the bottom) at one point but fortunately we missed. All of this activity commenced at 08:45 and by 09:45 we were tied between the poles, safely.
