    Geneva is clean, ordered, pretty and oh so expensive. We walked the old quarter, along the banks of Lake Geneva. We walked through the botanical gardens and saw the flower clock which is supposed to keep fantastic time, as you would expect of Swiss precision.

    ... After a celebratory drink we made our way back to the bus stop and managed to buy some tickets this time. The younger generation slept the whole journey , anyone would have thought they had done a triathlon. We stocked up at the supermarket with BBQ food and more beer, before returning back to base camp. As usual Duncan was in charge of an excellent BBQ and I wrongly thought we had bought too much food and drink. Evening games ended a very successful day ...

    ... stocked. We returned to Geneva in the afternoon by which time the roads had been shut so an enormous traffic jam made it slow progress but eventually we parked the car and Graham racked his bike and went for a practice swim. The enormous GB team gathered for the parade and we managed to meet up with Simon and Elly having successfully completed their 12 day cycle down the Rhine to Basel and getting the train to Geneva. ...

    ... This all equals I potential just got screwed over. It's funny. I don't know if it's a cultural thing or a me thing but I found my self having to trust more than I would back in Canada. What I mean is. Never would I have given the product back without a refund or the correct product. It's not to say I wouldn't trust that it would happen I just wouldn't even be used to do so.     ... and service was great. It was nice to have dinner out with someone else. Not to say that dinner or conversation isn't nice with Phil. That's great too but it was nice to have someone else to add to the mix. He actually moved just about a month before us. So we shared and swapped stories of experiences of the move and discoveries of the city. It's always good hearing other peoples experiences of moving and what they discovered.
