    Geneva is clean, ordered, pretty and oh so expensive. We walked the old quarter, along the banks of Lake Geneva. We walked through the botanical gardens and saw the flower clock which is supposed to keep fantastic time, as you would expect of Swiss precision.

    Other than that it was a fairly uneventful ride except for it was really hot therefore uncomfortable especially in a full car. After a very long ride we got to Basel where we were switching trains. It was much nicer on this train. Still no AC but more empty seats, plenty for everyone.
