    Only one lift worked and has 14 floors, taxi driver told us it has been broken for 2 months!!

    Arrived into Auckland to a wet cold miserable day. We went to Waihi Beach to visit Max and family. His son Steven picked us up from the terminal and it was just over two hour drive, had some lunch at the local RSA and headed back to the ship about 4.00pm .     We woke to partly cloudy skies, not as nice as yesterday. Our plan for today was to take the ferry over to Devenport and scout around for a while. The ferry terminal is right next to the ship, only minutes away. It was about $25 for both of us, round trip.
