    Talloires to Lyon to Domme! An early morning taxi ride into Annecy to catch our train to Lyon. It was a two hour scenic trip, some of it trailing a large lake.     ... those who don't know... LHC is about 27 km in circumference, AND housed over 100 m underground. In the end, really, it just looked like a bunch of big metal things in really bright colours stuck together. I guess maybe it would be more impressive if I was a physicist? Anyway, all in all, it was still cool to be able to say that I was underground with the LHC. So yay. :D Unfortunately, that was my whole morning gone and I had plans to do other things. Never ...
