    A Basic Sleepover Hotel

We found this hotel to be very basic, just good for overnight sleepovers and business people who hardly spend time in the room. There were certain issues we faced like room service not provided just because we did not pay a deposit (although the room was fully paid for before check in) and they had not even asked for this deposit when we checked in, very limited parking space and cramped foyer, out of beers etc. Otherwise, I would prefer Novotel any time. Just though of trying this for a change, but regretted.

... maintained till this day. Of course, during the night, no one would go near this building as there are so many stories about this building being haunted and the numerous sighting stories that have been passed on by word of mouth.

Well, with this iconic building visited, we move on to our next destination in Semarang.

    ... my kind of thing.

After lunch we decided to go to Sam Poo Kong temple. It was located about 15-20 minutes north of the city central and again we opted for a taxi ride. On a side note, we chose taxi because there's four of us and hence, the cost would be about the same either we took a taxi or public buses. Sam Poo Kong temple is gorgeous! When I stepped into its broad maincourt, I was transported to China. The IDR 3,000 (IDR 10,000 for foreigners) entrance ...
