Hotel Ibis in my travel experience in Europe is that they are reliable, predictable and clean. the rooms are small but clean. For a quick stay during travel is worth it. they have breakfast in the morning which saves a lot of time

Asians are sought after by the tourism bureau here and we were the minority among large groups of them. The sights said Switzerland, but the sounds said we were in Japan. We traipsed around the snow, walked across a swinging bridge, and entered a glacier cave. It is one ...

... there are stops along the way.

We always had our passports and T carried the Swiss Passes so all good; they only seemed to look at the Swiss Pass on all our checks.

Behind us was a group of 1 man and 2 women. In English 1 woman told the ticket guy she had a 2-day bus pass but forgot it and showed her ID (tourist). Ticket-guy was very nice and understanding. And sympathetic. He gave her a ticket/fine. I'm not being sarcastic - ...

Hannah was quite keen to go to the Zurich Zoo which is supposed to be awesome bit we decided that we can go to London zoo when living there so didn't do that but I discovered that the head office of FIFA is in in Zurich right next to the zoo so ...

This morning we woke up and outside the window there was a huge medieval castle with a large football field in front of it. Calum and I played football and took some pictures. Then we set off for a three hour journey again. On the drive, Calum and I played on the ipad for a while. I kept on asking, "How much longer until we get to Dad's hotel in Lake Maggiore?" We finally arrived (early) at Dad's workplace and Calum and I played with Lego for a while, waiting for him. Then ...

A free day ... we decided to sleep in at long last. The first thing on our minds is clean clothes so we sought out a Laundromat (Jet Wasch). Totally recommend them (www.jetwasch.ch) CH21 for a machine load of washed, dried & folded washing - it was the best feeling to have soft and fresh smelling clothes. We then decided to visit the Musegg Wall & Towers of Lucerne, one of the few Medieval remains left. ...
