Hotel Ibis in my travel experience in Europe is that they are reliable, predictable and clean. the rooms are small but clean. For a quick stay during travel is worth it. they have breakfast in the morning which saves a lot of time

... in and I don't like sitting backwards. Then we leave and it's quite lovely, the scenery and the quiet. It doesn't last long as at the next stop, some total nightmare in stupid pants gets on and sits next to me. Next to me! I do that comical look around, like "are you ******** me!", but he just takes his shoes off, pulls out some stinky sandwich and proceeds to eat it with his mouth open. I hate him so much. I glare at him for a bit then just say, **** off, and get up loudly and move ...

... t wait to see some live ice hockey games, which Switzerland has no shortage of. Today was babysitting day, my grandmother and I, had the cousins for the whole day. It was great. It's nice just to have fun, play and be a kid again. Did an excursion to Bruder Haus in Winterturn. It has a small free zoo kinda thing with wolves, weird horse things and lynx, just to name a few. It also has gorgeous forests for walking, picnicking and hiking, plus a big playground from which we couldn't get ...

... to a viewing point which has breathtaking views of glaciers and large precipices to look over. We got to the top after 50 minutes in the cable car and were immediatley hit by how cold it was - well below zero, which was not ideal since we have only got jandals in our luggage since the robbery in Barcelona! (And being typical kiwis were dressed in shorts and tshirts - but at least we had the forethought to bring a hoodie) There are about 9 different things to go through up ...

This morning we woke up and outside the window there was a huge medieval castle with a large football field in front of it. Calum and I played football and took some pictures. Then we set off for a three hour journey again. On the drive, Calum and I played on the ipad for a while. I kept on asking, "How much longer until we get to Dad's hotel in Lake Maggiore?" We finally arrived (early) at Dad's workplace and Calum and I played with Lego for a while, waiting for him. Then ...

... this place was. A normal bottle of water was three pound. I decided to hold off drinking until later in the week when I was further south, where hopefully it would be cheaper. Zurich is a very pretty place though, especially around the lake and the old town. I basically spent the day meandering around doing a whole lot of nothing..... it was good.

That night I went to a pizzeria in the old town. The greatest ever toilet for sign for the male ...
