Hotel Ibis in my travel experience in Europe is that they are reliable, predictable and clean. the rooms are small but clean. For a quick stay during travel is worth it. they have breakfast in the morning which saves a lot of time

... cold here; negative 5 to be exact. We checked in to the Weinhoff hotel, a family run little place, and had a nice hot shower after a gruelling 9hr bus trip. We had a free night and it was time for us to find dinner. This place is very expensive. The average wage here is roughly €98,000, which makes everything here expensive. Our tour manager also told us some cool facts, like every bridge entering and exiting this beautiful country has high ...

This morning we woke up and outside the window there was a huge medieval castle with a large football field in front of it. Calum and I played football and took some pictures. Then we set off for a three hour journey again. On the drive, Calum and I played on the ipad for a while. I kept on asking, "How much longer until we get to Dad's hotel in Lake Maggiore?" We finally arrived (early) at Dad's workplace and Calum and I played with Lego for a while, waiting for him. Then ...

We have always wanted to go Inter-railing around Europe but have been a bit put off by the cost of the ticket and the annoying terms and conditions which make it inconvenient for travellers. We did however find half-price rail tickets for Switzerland; and couldn't refuse a week on the train!

We started with a very early morning flight into a rather cold Zurich and spent a full day looking around. Zurich is ...

... to go to the Fondue House for desert. We reached there at 10.10pm and they were closing - aargh !!! We tried a few more restaurants along the river but without success. We went back to our hotel to inquire about where we could get this as we did not want to leave Switzerland without having Chocolate Fondue. The 'Ship' restaurant ...
