Hotel Ibis in my travel experience in Europe is that they are reliable, predictable and clean. the rooms are small but clean. For a quick stay during travel is worth it. they have breakfast in the morning which saves a lot of time

... forgot what it was like to take care of ourselves, we were like wild baby panther cubs tumbling through the metro stations; aware of the ferocity within us yet unable to completely anchor it. Dramatic? Yes. Truthful? I think so. Surprisingly, we made it to the train station with plenty of time to spare and I even got the chance to pick up the most delicious focaccia bread for the 3 hour train ride. We finally arrived (early) at Dad's workplace and Calum and I played with Lego for a while, waiting for him. Then ...

Dined at Opus restaurant overlooking the Reuss River in Old Town. A beautiful setting and lovely meal in spite of major weather! We experienced thunder, lightning, and torrential rain while staying dry under the awning. Luckily the storm subsided by the time we finished our meal.
Pleasant stay in the picturesque Swiss town.
