... Picasso, Renoir, and Pissaro, to name a few. Last year I discovered Pissaro and how much I like his work and this year Sisley kept catching my eye, whose work, looks a lot like Monet's. ... renovated and very spacious - I am in love already! Our friends Zarah & Logan arrived shortly after us and after settling in we decided to go for a stroll along the main strip and go for dinner, we sat alfresco and enjoyed a lovely meal and bottle of wine - after moving tables 3 times.

A quick stop at the local market to stock up on a few things before making our way back to the apartment.

... Apparently the toilets on the floor were out of order, so people were letting it drop out of their pants. The security guards were escorting the people responsible out. This was not the first time we have seen this in paris. Human poop has been a pattern seen each day....on our walks by the water, through train tunnels, in buildings. This is what happens when it costs 0,50 € to use a toilet.

... the architects plans wrong! That walk brought us out onto the Bastille early evening which was buzzing with nightlife. Tamsin nominated this as the place where she wanted her birthday dinner on Thursday night to which we all agreed. Wednesday afternoon after the Notre Dame and Islands we followed another walk, this time on the Left Bank, through the botanic gardens and on into the Latin Quarter. At the start of our walk along the left bank of the Seine we ...
