    ... tired legs in Christian's 'red chair'. This afternoon we packed our bags to catch the train to Dusseldorf. We were sad to leave Christian and Karin and are so grateful for their 'hostility' and for welcoming us into their home. Christian drove the four of us to Paderborn train station for the 2 hour ride.     ... of dinner I did scalloped potatoes as I notice the Germans enjoy their potatoes a lot, and a fresh salad - and fish - I bought the fish at a specialist fish store and copied what Christian was buying - thinking it was fish I could bake - however when it came time to cook the fish they let me know it was marinated raw fish which I have had before but I was a little embarrassed thinking I was going to cook it - anyway the meal was enjoyed by all - ...
