... we picked up our car which is what we keep for 5 weeks. It is 40 minutes to our house on the A9 motorway.

On the way to our house we had a quick stop in Pezenas at the Carrefour Supermaket to get a few groceries. When we arrived home we went upstairs and unpacked the groceries and suitcases and opened all the house up to air.

Seb and Dad put our new bikes together all afternoon, I couldn't wait to go for a ride. They are Italian and I am so excited. It is very hot, 33 degrees Celsius and I was trying to sneak and open the box before they opened mine.

We didn't go for a bike ride as we were all so exhausted I just needed to go to sleep.

Maddi’s pav was creamed (difficult to find a cream to whip here as it needs to be over 30% fat content and most creams are not), strawberries, kiwifruit and grated chocolate was added to go with the huge fruit salad, vanilla and also cream brulee ice cream. A lavish feast enjoyed with ...

... somewhere, there would have been up to 100 people watching us progress up the staircase and would have had a bit of a smile at some of the stressful moments each of the boats had at different times.

Well, for never canal boating and now completing 12 locks in a day we all felt really proud of our feat and so we should have it was a great team effort with Corban the co-helmsman and yes there were points of stress but also a great sense of achievement of what ...
