Today we went to Montpellier and did some shopping.

It was fun but my feet really really really hurt it was too hot and sticky. I wanted some comfy shoes or some with roller skates in them!!!

Mum scraped the car wing mirror while driving into the underground carpark but didn't do heaps of damage.

We had lunch at Georges Cafe, it was ok. I liked Mum's chocolate frappe and the Bonaffi Pie.

Thursday 30th – Toni ventured out for her first Ladies lunch at La Dome with a group of ladies from the online Facebook Long Duck Ladies, she took the tram in to town to Place de la Comedie and then walked to the venue and was first there. A total ...

... Fonserannes Staircase operates a timetable certain times for going up and certain times for going down so we tied up to the side of the canal prior to the staircase entry on the right hand side of the canal which was far easier this time as they had poles ready to tie to. The upwards opening time was 4pm till 5:15pm so we had 1 hour to wait and were fourth boat inline but this did not matter if and as happened in this case a commercial canal boat came through as they have right of ...
