It is clean enough. Nothing special about the place. I am sure you could get better value for money elsewhere.

I know it is not in East Africa but it is on the way home.
The flights last night with Rwandair were OK, in fact , the first one was one of the best I have had. We arrived here at 4.30 this morning. I was soo knackered I walked straight past baggage claim and was outside before I realized. I had to talk my way back inside through all the out …
Friday November 7th. Boarded plane in Auckland at 6pm. 3 hour flight to Brisbane. 2 hours in transit. 14 hour flight to Dubai. Yuk. Only so many films you can watch, meals you can eat, snoozes you can have and walks to prevent DVT you can have in a tin can in the sky! Saturday November 8th. Landed 4.45. And of course there is the champagne, no concern about heart murmurs here apparently!! Once again great flight ...

I ended up buying some work pants from Mango and they were extremely cheap about $43 NZ for really nice tailored pants with a ...
... when I actually arrive it more feels like the equivalent of waiting in hour long lines at Disney Land when you are a kid.
So I abandoned plan A of exploring and plan B of running amuk for 20 hours and instead went with plan C. Therefore here I am, enjoying a hotel bed, free WiFi, power. My excuse is I will be roughing it for the next 7 weeks.
Goodnight all! I will update when I can (with pictures, news, stories, etc)!
