It is clean enough. Nothing special about the place. I am sure you could get better value for money elsewhere.

I know it is not in East Africa but it is on the way home.
The flights last night with Rwandair were OK, in fact , the first one was one of the best I have had. We arrived here at 4.30 this morning. I was soo knackered I walked straight past baggage claim and was outside before I realized. I had to talk my way back inside through all the out …

Best moment of triumph - beating all the young bucks in a flat out race of 6km back to Sarp roundabout after Mick Rogers won. I couldn't get anywhere near them on the climbs but on the flat was a different matter. I streeted them back to Lortet as well - 35kms.

Best relaxing experience - Balnea Spa at Loudenveille, especially the Japanese ...

Things are starting to get a little weird over here, biologically-speaking. When we landed in Dubai to transfer to Singapore, local time was 8 a.m. but it was 1:30 a.m. in Pittsburgh time. Add this to the overnight bus ride that I took to get to JFK the night before and you have a a recipe for exhaustion sometime in the next 12 hours. I did manage to make it through security and everything in Dubai, but the plane ride to Singapore has been ...
