It is clean enough. Nothing special about the place. I am sure you could get better value for money elsewhere.

I know it is not in East Africa but it is on the way home.
The flights last night with Rwandair were OK, in fact , the first one was one of the best I have had. We arrived here at 4.30 this morning. I was soo knackered I walked straight past baggage claim and was outside before I realized. I had to talk my way back inside through all the out …

About 2 hours before landing we got afternoon tea, a cheese and pickle and chicken tikka sandwich and then jam and clotted creams scones - i don't think flying is that bad now hahaa! Midnight at the oasis, send your camels to bed! Took the shuttle to the Bedouin camp located deep in the desert. It must have been deep because it took that long to get there. Hopped off the shuttle bus and took a leisurely land cruiser drive across some gentle dunes to the camp. Enjoyed the camel ride, the desert sunset, the dodgy gift sellers (coloured sands, photo with a falcon, head scarves, henna tattoos, ...

... thought I was going to end up around the camels neck.
And believe it or not - I am now tattooed!! Beautiful floral art on my hand and down my index finger. No, while I was tired, and a little shaken from the ride, I did not subject myself to unsterile procedures. It is a henna tattoo.
The meal was very good - entree of Lebanese breads, spinach samosa, chicken roll, falavall. All nice, but they are quite ...

Sorry for the very late entry guys... I am a very very lazy person and sometimes i just forget! So last time I promised you a story involving a Jumeirah Beach and some very itchy underpants and that's what you'll get. (I can sense your excitement already)

I woke up, went through the same yogurt breakfast, listened to my friend's roommate's boring monologue about his heydays and got dressed in shorts to hit the city again. Mall of the Emirates was ...
