We do discuss idea of staying for a week now but in the end decide to continue south to be sure of hotter weather. South to Lyon, another Mercure chain ...

We have heard and read about some park in Lyon. Apparently one can spend a whole day there - and they are definitely right! We got there easily on a local bus and walked into a covered path that it seemed everyone in Lyon was jogging on. Too bad I did not have my running shoes. A rose garden awaited us around the next corner along with the lake. Caleb found a boy to play paddle ball with - this boy had said no the Caleb's first request to play soccer. Ten minutes later ...
