We landed in Libreville, Gabon to let some passengers off and to pick up some others. After all the departing passengers got off the plane, the flight attendants verified the owner of each carry-on bag in the overhead bins. Each of us had to claim our bags. This took several minutes but was a good security measure. Then they sprayed the plane for mosquitos. They reassured us that this spray was not harmful to us. How does it kill mosquitos, then? ... is a festival for children all over Portugal today.
getting here was quite easy. I caught the metro in Lisbon to the bus station, then on to the bus..very comfy,with wifi and a "hostess" who sat beside the driver and bought around a little menu for snacks and drinks that you could buy. The trip took 3 1/2 hours but went quickly.
today I get back on a bus for a 6 hour trip to Seville....hope it is as comfy!
All in all, Mr. Akinbo, Mr. Mickelson, Yemisi Ibirogba and myself traveled through seven states of *****ia on our trip: Lagos, Ondo, Edo, Delta, Anambra, IMO, Abia.
We will remain in Lagos until Friday, and then make the trip to the Republic of Benin for the Sabbath.

My first problem of the day began after breakfast when I spoke with the front-desk attendant about arranging a taxi to the ABC Transport booking office in the Falomo Shopping Center. The map in my book indicates it’s only about two miles but the first taxi driver he called wanted 3,000 naira ($18.40). He called another driver and we bargained down to N 1,500 ($9.20).
... 2:12 with cashews – not the traditional mixed nuts that United has always served to commence a premium-cabin meal service. Hmmm, that’s a curious change. I like cashews, so that’s no problem – but the mixed nuts are nicer. I wonder why someone decided to make that change. I ordered orange juice with Grand Marnier as my cocktail.
