... rupiah, which sounded wrong to me, compared to what I heard from others. He tried to sell me a ticket before getting on the bus, but I rejected and said I was going to get my ticket once on board. He didn't like that and said it wouldn't make a difference because he was the ticket controller on that bus. Anyway I got on the bus and asked the others what they paid and asked the guy selling the tickets if it was 50.000. He confirmed so I got my ticket. But then the other man came ...

... unheard of in Potato Head before. So, after our slightly upsetting lunch we decided to go to the Mulia Hotel to book a table for their Sunday Brunch tomorrow morning.

Once we arrived at the hotel I was gob smacked. This six star hotel screams riches. In the downstairs lobby there is an in house chocolatier that makes handbags, iPhones, Eiffel Towers and much more. I have never seen chocolates like it. Along with the chocolate the hotel has over ten ...

    Walking around town

... before we headed back to the hotel using taxis.

We had a group dinner and decided to go to a bar after dinner. On the short way between the restaurant and the bar our guide was dissoriented, which caused us to walk the same street about 4 times. Nobody minded it, he was probably dehydrated. At the bar we sat outside and provided a good meal for a large number of mosquitos, while we had some Bintang. The next day we would head out of Jakarta after breakfast.

    More shopping.

... br> The rest of the afternoon was spent on the computer or reading and the time passed quickly enough. After Fletcher returned we were again driven by the reliable Tandi to Fletcher's favourite Jakarta restaurant, Koi. This is in the suburbs and is "modern chic" bistro style. We had a fabulous three course meal there with white and red wine.I had duck pate, Lamb shanks and a magnificent Mille Feuilles for dessert. Very impressive indeed.

So a quieter day which was very pleasant.
