    Howdy folks,

Every Sunday morning in Hamburg, people head down to the wharf to check out the local fish market. So we decided to do the same and have some breakfast down there. Thankfully the wonderful Metro in Hamburg got us there, well within walking distance at least.

I thought that most of the market would be going on inside the hall, but there were a lot of stalls set up around the outside and over the road. You could buy ...

    Howdy folks,

Rainer was keen to get down to the waterfront for breakfast and it was pretty easy to reach the Landungsbrücken. So we jumped on the U-Bahn at the Sternschanze Station and got off three stops later at the waterfront. Howdy folks,

With my father and his partner Carole in Europe on a whirlwind holiday, we received an invitation to catch up with them in Hamburg. Having camped in the Schwarzwald, it was time for a bit of luxury. So we joined them in booking a room at the Mövenpick Hotel, a 4-Star Hotel in a renovated water tower near the city centre!

It was an early start to get ready and finish packing. Luckily we arrived in Mannheim in time to catch the 6:05am IC ...

Woke up feeling sad that it's today I'm about to come home, but feeling excited also to see everyone again! Feeling glad that I picked everything last night, as today I just can not be bothered! I went down stairs and had breakfast with Lena before getting stuck into painting this block, her mum has asked me to paint before I left! She is making an archway in the garden with all different sizes and paintings on each block, ...

... people you never thought you'd meet. All in all the experience so far has been overwhelming but utterly wonderful. Bristol was my first destination. I thought it was a good idea to go and visit my extended family as I hadn't seen them in over three years (and it was also a good time to get over my jet lag). I spent the weekend going into town and stocking up on some travel essentials - H&M and Topshop clothes definitely fall into that category. I also reassessed what luggage I ...
