    ... horseshoes or hand grenades. Dinner tonight was the menu I'd been waiting for. The salute to America. Lobster tail and king prawns were on the menu as well as Baked Alaska. I'm not a big Bakes Alaska fan, so opted for the sugar free chocolate tapioca pudding. It was so good...and sugar free...that I had 2. Mmmmm mmmm good!     Day 1 - Friday, 5th September, 2014

    We set off from Gunthorpe knowing that the ride down to Dover due to it being motorway most of the way except for when Gilly and his satnav, decided to take us on a tour of a housing estate somewhere near Dartmouth, would be the least interesting of the whole month away.

    ... the Boats" of asylum seekers much easier to deal with than "Stop the international freight, it may have illegal immigrants". I wonder how the Australian government would handle that if we weren't isolated by ocean.

    I have nowhere to break into, being a motorcyclist, so I eventually get noticed and get waved to the front of the queue through to immigration to the Ferry parking lot, just in time to see the ramps go up and the 4:30pm ferry ...
