      ... highway to Toowoomba. It was not as long a drive as we had thought only being 2 hours, so going inland and making it up the steep incline of a mountain in big Bertha.       The best plans are made in the late pm after a couple of rums.
      Long Service Leave is unreal.
      Sleeping during the night is good.
      I don't hate work, I just hate having to work.
      There are equal proportions of Bogans no matter where you go.

      ... Tucker Eco Trail which was really interesting and phoebe in particular found fascinating. It basically involved being taken on a walking tour of parts of the island with a trained ranger, discussing the flora and fauna. He told us what the plants may have been used for, food, baskets, fishing nets, tools, etc. He would let us try the edible berries, leaves, stems and petals of plants.
