      ... almost glad to be back in the car for another 2 hours driving!

      The scenery became notably flatter with harvest fields as we approached the Champagne region. At one point we both spotted our first ever twister! OK so there weren’t cows or cars flying around but we could see the dust from the harvest being sucked up into god knows where – very cool and a first for us ...

      ... I think forward flexion causes far less strain to the knee structures than lateral movements, which are far more likely to occur when moving over uneven ground. As if to prove the point, the only painful twinges I've experienced have been on rough dirt tracks.

      More good news is that my blood sugar levels are really good. I eat heartily and the exercise I'm doing seems to take care of the rest.
