    ... decided to settle for something else Cus everyone is tired of walking and hungry. They chose a kebab place (which I don't eat), and I was pretty reluctant to just settle for food at a rather unpleasant looking place after walking for so long. While we were finding the recommended restaurant, we walked past a Chinese restaurant, which interest me, so I dragged Vivian along to accompany me to check the restaurant out. I had huge cravings for Asian food by then. So hungry!!! ...

    ... very comfortable but it was a great location to get to Cannes and Juan des Pins. Had I known about the construction pit under our window, I would have NEVER had booked. But like I said, it was paid for, the location was excellent and the parking very secure. All part of the adventure. Sorry no pictures of the apartment, just couldn't bring myself to take ...

    ... and I scouted out to find the bus stop. When we got there, I realized I had lost my ticket. We walked back to the Tram station. There it was, right on the ground! By then, Troy (George's friend) and Taylor ( his college-aged daughter) were down also. We showed them where the bus stop was but asked again about the bus schedule. We thought the French guy had told us it would arrive at 1:30 but he actually meant, it was a one hour and thirty minutes ...

    ... far to walk (never mind that a month later we would walk 30 kilometres in Paris in one day, without complaint). There was also a ferry service from our ship to the Toulon port for a twenty euros - which, again for some unknown reason, we decided was too expensive. We decided, instead, to make the most of this pretty little town and left the ship at about 9 am.

    Approximately 150 minutes later we were back on board the ship.

    ... delicious. Taste so different here than at home. Port grimaud - this was a swamp which they transformed into a waterside village. Looks like little Venice. Each house has boat access & a waterfront view. Most beautiful scenery so far- very green so must get a lot of rain here. Hot today, 27 ...
