... with super curly hair rather than a blow-wave haha!! It got a little lost in translation but hey....no more regrowth at least :-)By this time it was pretty late, so we head straight out for tea. ... of their stadium. He was in heaven. Apart from going to Milan, the drive back to Nice was the same road that we took going to Lauterbrunnen. This made the bus drive feel rather long. ... I love Chagall, so I really enjoyed it. They also included free audio guides with admission, so we were able to learn a lot about Chagall's work. We both loved the windows in the auditorium of the museum. It started raining while we were in the Chagall Museum, so instead of going to the beach like we were hoping to, we went to the Museum of Contemporary and Modern Art. There was a big Alexander Calder sculpture outside, and a couple smaller ones inside the museum, so ...
... to get their feet dirty while walking on the beach.
We then climbed up Castle Hill, which was constructed by the Greeks that settled Nice. The park has a botanical garden and a waterfall that was once a cathedral. We had to take an elevator up, and surprisingly, we were able to get admission free again! Our way down was not too much fun though. We had climbed up to the panoramic view of the area, and Alexis fell - that's when we decided it was time to go back to ...
... We baked in the sunny hot bleachers, but it was still lots of fun.
Last and final stop: The Prince's (Rainier III) Private Antique Car Collection! Over 100 of his personal favorite cars, spanning from late 1880s classics and old carriages, 1990s Formula 1 cars, old Bentley's, custom futuristic things, and even a classic 50s Chrysler. I wished my Dad was there with me to appreciate it all. I know he would have been in as much heaven as I was!
