Cruisie start and we are off o Nice for a days adventure ... Train trip to get there ..oh what another train ...yep but it's got AC ...bonus on a hot morning in the south of France. ... at Gap for lunch (remember - it is Sunday). Finally found somewehere to eat, and after a quick look around, off we go - now on to Nice.
After Gap, we rejoin the tollways, and they are great to drive on - 130kph all the way, and 3 lanes.
Only problem. When you first get on the tollway, you get a ticket. Between Gap and Nice, we had to do this twice.
At the end of the tollway, it is all un-manned booths.
... the beach which is aptly name "Blue Beach." The beach itself was very rocky and uncomfortable, but the shallow water was a brilliant turquoise blue color! It was truly stunning and only added to the exotic feel of the riviera.
