    ... after a spray bottle to spray oil when he's barbecuing but the French don't have aerosol cans of oil in the supermarkets so he knows a $2 shop here and so he and I go for a walk through the town to check it out and he finds what he is after.     We left the mountains on our trek South to Nice at about 10.30am...

    It was expected to be a long drive... but we weren't quite prepared for the whole "windy, steep, narrow, scary up the peak, down the slope, in the ice experience'.... the GPS was getting a sledging!     ... briefing we were told of the mountain climbs we have to make tomorrow to get up and then down to Geneva. The fact that we had no alcohol and we were back in our room by 9:30 explains how Bryan and I are feeling about tomorrow.
