    Tuesday & Wednesday, Amboise, Loire Valley: We visited three popular chateaus of the kings of France at Villandry, Chambord, and Chenonceau. Amazing gardens & architecture, the crown jewels of the Loire Valley. Some great wine tasting at a local vineyard followed up with a traditional French meal of escargots and lamb at a beautiful restaurant in a limestone cave.     ... a lovely late lie in meant plans were changed. It also turned out to be a glorious day so we took advantage of a tan top up opportunity and lazed one off in the sunshine! Leftover barbecue for lunch and leftover curry for dins made it a day of minimal effort too!
