    Sunday 5th July

On Saturday we drove to a campsite just outside a town called Waldfischbach. The temperature gauge in the van was showing 38 degrees, it was becoming unbearable. Once at the campsite it wasn't any cooler. The site was busy with weekenders and was a bit noisy on Saturday night. The difference on Sunday was amazing as they all ...

While here, you can get an amazing panorama of the Alsace region.

Basel was only about 2 hours away so we had a leisurely breakfast and morning and set off around 1pm planning to get to Basel around 3pm. We could probably have made it straight to Basel the night before but we know from experience the last few KM can take forever - which indeed they did again..... cue next blog page

A travel blog entry by denisewills on Sep 03, 2014

Pat and Stefani returned from Spain today. So my Mom and I drove to Stuttgart airport to pick them up. It was a three hour drive because of very bad traffic with commuters and construction. We figured out the airport and then drove to downtown Stuttgart to look around. Too big of a city, with no place to easily park, so we decided to head back closer to the airport and find somewhere to eat lunch. I could see a village close by the airport so we headed there. We found a good place ...
