No longer were we jet setting between tropical islands, we were like everyone else working 9-5 minimum wage jobs (of course it was in Sydney though so our lives were still amazing)! After nearly 4 months of living in dormitories, shacks, sleeper trains and hotel rooms it was nice to relax somewhere where we have a separate lounge, our own bathroom, tap water we can brush our teeth in, toilets we can put toilet paper into rather than having to put it in a bin - yes, we really enjoyed Asia but it's nice to get back to some of the nice simple things in life, if only for a few days.
