We came across an area that had mist puffing out of the ground and Joe said it looked like a ground fountain - a big rectangular area with water spouts in a grid pattern and you could walk all around them. Kids were running around the mist. We walked on and there were 3 or 4 more areas spurting mist, but did not have water jets.       Weather: cloudy and overcast all day but no rain. High of 23 degrees Had a bit of a lie in this morning before getting up and having some eggs on toast for breakfast and preparing to head to Monaco for the day and then into Nice later on.       Our first stop this morning was the hilltop town of Saint Paul Da Vaunce. A beautiful medieval town with narrow, uneven, cobbled streets. A magical town around 830am with no others around yet but our group. We spent about an hour wandering the narrow streets filled with boutique shops and lots of places to buy sweets such as nougat.       ... someone else sniff out the problems with hot water or rude owners. Well, we risked it and it was fabulous. Everything was brand new with great extras - Nespresso machine, towel heaters and great kitchen features.
