... the old town - lots of people (glad we are not here in summer) and the main city street, went into at least 6 churches or cathedrals , and also briefly visited the Modern and Contemporary Art Museum, an unbelievably stunning building of steel and glass with great city views. ... etc....I ran into Opa and we tried to find the store John had talked about, but asked directions and was told to go a different way. After about a mile we did indeed come upon the SUPER MACHE. This store is France's Walmart I guess. Too huge for us to deal with, so we just got what we needed and escaped. We then walked back through this great big recreation area that the city has made from an old air force ...
