    Another cold but clear morning as we left the apartment, in two trips down the five flights of steps, then enjoyed a coffee at a cafe on the corner. We had seen the nearby taxi ranks each day we have been here, but alas, today when we needed one the local authorities had closed the road to put the Christmas lights up.     ... animals mature and when they are old enough to reproduce. Another area of the museum focused on evolution. I'm not sure if it was a temporary or permanent exhibit, but it had a fun movie that the kids wanted to watch multiple times.

    ... detail. There was one giant figure of Obelix on a wooden life-size stool (Obelix being relatively smaller) which amazed us. Even if you follow Belgian comics closely, you may not recognize some of the figures in the museum because it has a massive collection of comic book characters, even the ones that are not being printed currently.
