We spent a wonderful day with Nicolas, Elodie wee Paul and Antoine. Most of the day was at Nicolas's parents place where the pool was 25 deg, a great bbq and to finish I managed to beat Nicolas at Petanque 2 games to 1.
Taking it easy today as we packed and were taken to Geneva Airport early by Elodie. The afternoon spent in the lounge bar relaxing before our trip home via Zurich on Swiss Air.
We stay a night in Singapore. ...

... game and I nick named him The Spin Black & Nicolas the Spin Frog. So I finally got a sun fix lounging around by a pool in the sun, it was hot - the sun in Europe doesn't burn its more like our late afternoon sun all day long. Great times come to an end and as the sun goes down we head back to their home to pack our bags and have an early night as we are flying home ...

By now the midi dejeuner was ready and we were treated to an amazing meal from Marc, Tomato salade from his garden & his secret dressing, beans ...

... calm and just stand or sit around when you go up to them.

Lunch is served and its delicious, I am lucky enough to have the best view from the table straight out the door overlooking the hills and valley below, I could stay here for a few days and just breath in the fresh air and read a book to just be and relax. There is a problem with wolves here and they are protected in France - farmers are not allowed to kill them and the population is getting out of hand ...

1020km's Complet as they say in France

... one day so here we were having more than completed our goal of 1000km's. What an achievement, we were both hot, and tired but elated on the route and distance we had just completed. In true Kiwi fashion a cold beer - Rod comes back with a dutch beer and 7% what that will blow my socks off but it tasted great. Nicolas & Elodie has arranged to meet us and take us back to their place - thanks, home was 1/2 away and it was hard to stay awake in ...
