... to a winery called Chateu St. Rosaline. It was a small winery nestled somewhere in the hills to the west of Cannes. While the wines were all like other French wines, very dry and somewhat oaky, the weird part of the winery was the chapel that had a preserved St. Rosaline on display since 1329 !!! We seemed to go through the wrong direction, because we suddenly transferred from the touristy area into the more ethnic area where men were in every corner. These boats are some of my dream machines. I know I always ramble on about cars but old wooden speedboats are right up there on my list of things to own, alongside classic Alfa Romeo's, a Mk1 Mini and a '68 Mustang Fastback. It would have been great to have got close enough for some real detail pictures but the boat ...

... and hand clapping. It sounded really cool. There were about four different dancers and they were really good. Crazy how quick they move their feet! After the show us and the other contiki group walked down to that fountain I mentioned earlier as the show was on. Basically the fountain had heaps of different colours and water jts jets and it was all coordinated to music. Then it was down to port Olympic to the bar and club area. We had a special venue ...
