    ... was built in honor of Saint Reparata. Legend says the Romans apparently beheaded her, placed her body in a boat, but then angel's breath blew her to shores of Nice. The Cathedral was erected in modern Gothic style and has elaborate decorations throughout. Then it was back to the boat for a nice dinner!

    ... is a much more agreeable French town to spend the afternoon. It's flat enough to walk easily, the beach has actual sand, the food prices are more down to earth and generally it's a fun little coastal town.

    ... bodies from more walking! The tower itself is quite the site, and seeing it in person allows you to actually ponder it's creation, perched on a foundation which is on an incline, hence giving it it's "lean". Kate and I had fun taking the popular "pushing tower over" and "better save the tower from falling over" pics with our camera.     ... the high street you could call it which was never ending. But before that I spent some time on the rocks on the edge of the beach getting even blacker. The beach was full of kids, youth groups, fishermen, pipe smokers and couple of course but the rock was good enough for me. The journey back to Nice was a strange one.
