So we conspired to have pizzas delivered, the hotel bartender/waiter, Pepe, stoked a fire for us in the library, and we all snuggled down into wing back chairs in front of a fire where we drank, ate, and laughed for hours. It was so wonderful to feel like we were in someone's home (like, Lord Grantham's home) for an evening. Our final day of cycling took us a short trip up (another climb!) to an ...

... the manouvering that is needed by each of the skippers. Another highlight was the Cathedral St. Nazaire set on the top of a hill overlooking the river Orb. We climbed a very narrow staircase to the top of the tower for the fabulous views of Beziers and the surrounding countryside. ... bus was and we set off to leave. BUT.... Just before we left she told us we could stay in this ibis and cancel our other booking for 10 euros. Dream world. I like this woman. So we did that. Pushing 4 oclock we decided to get a ten minute train to Agde on the coast. I stayed here 3 years ago with my friend Dani who has a villa here. Its only a small little village but its really nice and french! After a pleasant but long walk along the river/sea/canal thing we made it to ...
