... nice Eurostar lady exchanged our non-changeable tickets for the next train!!! JOY!!!

The day in Brussels was saved!! and we were going back "home" to London, only about 1.5 hours late!

We are glad to be back with Mike for a few days, but I've already prepped them - we are out of here again EARLY Monday morning for Barcelona. I think they are ok with it. They are my go-with-the flow-traveling-fools ...

... got us some traditional Dutch breakfast treats of course full of honey and sugar (delicious) to prep and wake us up for the day ahead. Then, in the middle of breakfast the best thing happened: Call Me Maybe, the newest annoying pop hit came on the radio. For the past week, Margaux and I kept telling each other how many times we played it while at work. And then it came on. We turned it up and started dancing as her parents looked on just laughing at ...

... and amazing church...and we kind of just went 'meh'.
This particular cathedral did upset me a bit though. Just before exiting the cathedral, I saw a fluorescently lit up machine (not unlike a pokies machine) that pumped out souvenir coins of the church after you put in your 2 euros. I am sorry, but that is taking it a bit far. I was in shock. But this is what is and always has been wrong with the church... money. The next thing I saw walking out of ...
