    ... seem to be very patient drivers, certainly far more so than in NZ. We guess it's a function of population - impatience doesn't get you very far here.     ... It was a long but interesting drive a majority of it through the Carmague. I very nearly ran out of petrol but just as I must have been on fumes a petrol station appeared after 40 miles of not seeing one.

    About an hour out of Le Cap D'Agde, we hit bad weather and although the waterproofs did their job, it was a pretty miserable trip into Le Cap.
