    ... cruises up, walked through the town up the hill towards the old town hall, amazing art work on the wall even has a foot sticking out, up to the cathedral, a Gothic style building on to the new residence & a lovely rose garden, down the hill again & free time, went for a beer, stopping at one of the 9 breweries in town, shopping, back to the boat. Sailed earlier than the plan so here's hoping we will be back on schedule soon.

    ... The city is known for its lack of bombing damage though the war, so leaving one of the most original towns in Germany.

    The tour concluded around 10.30 leaving us a couple of hours to wander the town. The town is known for its unusual 'smoked' beer (think heavy dark beer that tastes like it's had pea and ham soup marinating in it, not great). Of course ...

    ... portion which provided much enjoyment for the children.

    Next stop theTeufelshoehle which is a large cave we were able to walk around in underground for some time examining the many stalignites and staligtites lit up with many LED effects. Followed by the Sommerrodelbahnen run which we all had a lot of fun on for several runs and followed that up with some ice cream of course.

    Rudiger and Nayja had to leave us then....but not to be limited in ...
