... concerts there. I was on the stage at one point but I don't project well enough for such a theatre :(
While the theartre has never been used as an arena for gladiators we had a couple rioaming around for photos. Anna took them on!!
We also came across a group of bikers on a tour of Turkey on BMWs who will apparently be following our itinerary for the next few days. We di come across them all day at each stop.

Getting closer the mountains became hills and suddenly a vast flat steppe was laid out before us and in the centre the city of Konya sprang forth and spilled out its 1.3 million inhabitants. ... made it home after almost 7 hours of travel. At least we'll always remember that time we all got trapped on a bus in rural Turkey for 3 hours and were only slightly scared of being murdered. Can't get much better bonding than that!
Overall it was a great weekend and it was nice to see a very different side of Turkey. this trip has been wonderful but I'm starting to be excited to get home again. Hope you all are out having adventures of your own! -Hilary

Barely hit the ground and it's been amazing. Yesterday went to Alayna and visited an 11th Century castle on a high rocky area surrounded on 3 sides by the Mediterranean Sea. Pretty cool. Fellowship with my friends has been the best. Some great convos just being together. Living life as it is. Hearing stories about living in a foreign land. Listening to dreams and just hanging out.
