... the Carbiniery –highway patrol. The first time we have ever needed our international drivers licenses. Very serious faces and assault riffles kept our giggles in check until we got the all clear. Much laughter in the bongo van as Guido explained that in Italy there are Irish jokes but the Irish are substituted with the Carbiniery. Anyway time to visit a winery and taste some Vertmentino ciao ...
We have continued to explore Sardinia's beaches this week… Spiaggia Quartu San Elena, Spiaggia Castelsardo, Foxi Manna, Spiagga Barisone…all amazing with beautiful scenery, warm water, sandcastles to be built, and gelato to be eaten (Cioccolata for Abby and Fragola for Jackson) .
