... unreal, sun is fierce and not a breath of wind. Afternoons on the balcony are the order of the day, listening to all the birds shouting at each other and arguing over bread dropped on the floor at the cafe by the lake.
Only downside is having to wait until 7 till the restaurants open. Not easy for two gluttons like us. Had a rubbish meal first night too which is enough to put us in a bad mood for about a week. Italy almost done. ...

... We wandered down some old stairs towards the lake and had lunch alfresco at a cafe by the Lake's edge. M had crepes (savoury) which are big in Europe, and D had pizza. Such a beautiful day and lingered at the table awhile. Went in to the 2 old churches that are part of this tiny place and face onto the same little square as does the entrance to our hotel.
