... as you will see in my photos. Apparently on a very clear day you can see the coast of Croatia. Well it was super clear today and we saw it! Just the outline of some hills and land. To get into this campground its also very steep. About 500 meters to the top and it feels nearly vertical to climb up. We had to push our bikes and it was rather hairy coming down in the Beast. As we were coming to the end of our stay in Macerata, we took some snaps of the lovely aparthotel where we stayed. We'd also seen some Roman ruins on our travels so went back to visit them and discovered an amphitheatre used as a venue for concerts ...
