        ... a nice lunch (the best in Egypt!) with Jill & Katarzyna, who's been staying & working with Jill then boarded our flight to Sharm.

        Our flight was delayed by an hour due to the airport giving priority to the Egypt Air Force who were doing maneuvers all day, practicing for Oct 6 (their equivalent of Independence Day).

        We were waiting so long that I actually fell asleep which was quite amazing since I had a kid next to me that kept grabbing my arm, ...

        ... day was clear, and the dawn was incredible. The sharp-spired rough desert mountain landscape spreads out before you, lit first from the horizon. It is breathtaking.

        Some people chanted Psalms; some sang hymns; everyone took photos and videos, some of themselves, some of others, some of the landscape.         ... and Christine also improved her time underwater (although she did miss an 'I’ in her name at 40m).

        One of our most relaxing dives was our first night dive, where we were lucky enough to see octopus, cuttlefish, a squid shooting ink, and Spanish dancers. We both thoroughly enjoyed our two weeks of diving, and relaxing under the sea and cannot wait until we are able to return someday!!
