Very kind family visit

On Tuesday morning about 9:30 AM we set off for Detmold from Berlin.
We had scheduled to visit Doris' uncle and their family.

It was an uneventful trip except for 3 or 4 stops for Camilla to feed the baby.
The autobahn's are great and FAST. Camilla who drove us there clocked a speed of 160 KPH at one stage and yet we felt safe. The roads are flat without bumps or sharp curves.

... Being inland it is obviously a lake, but very big. Its a public holiday in Germany today and lots of people around. When we arrive and finally find parking there appears to be a festival of sorts on. Singing and stalls and heaps of people. Its cold and very windy, and just holding of raining. We lunch in a lovely restaurant overlooking the lake. They give us the only English version of a menu however there is still confusion and they bring us the wrong ...

... Allan, Allan youtube clip of this funny animal calling for Allan is a bit of an in joke with the girls at work, (love my work girls) so we were determined to get a shot of him. He didn't make it easy though, he kept disappearing into a hole so it took some time!

We walked around quaint Bielefeld for a while, had a yummy pasta dinner and headed back to the hotel. David was especially tired after close to 4 hours of driving concentration.
