... hour or so to one of the prettiest places I have ever seen. Oh My Lord! Rothenburg is a fortified town and driving through the massive stone arched gate is like opening up a fairytale book. Try and remember the most beautiful fairytale setting you can, and I can pretty much guarantee Rothenburg is that place. Fairytale, there is no other way to describe it. Up at 8 this morning and we lazed in bed for a bit before going to breakfast at 9. An awesome spread for breaky. I had a freshly made omelette which was delicious, there were hard boiled eggs, bacon, meats, cheeses, health smoothies, probiotic drinks, pancakes, honeycomb, sausages, meatballs etc!! Delicious. ... outside of the City of Schwangau. Apparently we didn't get up early enough. We got there at 9:30 and there was already a line 1 1/2 hours long just to get tickets to get in. We decided to just enjoy the long distance view from the ticket center and then move on down the road.
