We managed to take off on our 2014 Winter trip on Friday. We spent the night in West Virginia and luckily picked a place to stay south of a region affected by a chemical spill. We made it to Myrtle Beach last night. Went to church and Costco, then spent the afternoon walking the beach and enjoying the sun and warmth.

We sort of celebrated Thanksgiving Day here today (28th November), by having roast turkey breast and veg, followed by a Lemon Meringue Pie.
Took a ride one day to Myrtle Beach. Checked out the sights on ...

... the beach, a little time golfing, did some shopping, and found a great place for food up the road a few miles outside of MB called Murrells Inlet. Small town, big on seafood restaurants. We ate there 4 times and enjoyed 3 out of 4 meals! Some of our favorite places were River City Café, Dead Dog Saloon, Drunken Jacks and Bovines....you know, real classy places lol!! Well they all came highly recommended so we weren't too ...
