... Still hotels still seemed like a better option. Until Barcelona. Here I discovered the hostel from hell, make too much noise and the man hid the breakfast things. I'm gutted I never got to taste Spanish cornflakes but the cafe down stairs was lovely! It was here I began to realize how much the randomness of where you stay effects your trip. I met people, some could speak English, some not but it didn't matter. Malta - the first was a homeless shelter, I got an apartment upstairs ...

... and most of the signs say free entry. I have a nice ticket anyway. The castle was old and is on it's second rebuild. I climb up the stairs to the top thinking that the safest place in a storm is in a castle then I remember it can't be all that strong if it's had to be rebuilt. Trains again

... the sweat sauce covered potato. Sitting on the plantform is an experience as some of those trains are fast!! The hostel ps directions include "crossing over bridges" which I do. I even ask people, but nope can't find the place. It is roasting and my stuff is really heavy. I am drenched In sweat.
