And in many places there are no beaches – just a rocky coast line- so it’s swimming off the rocks. But the Med is like a bath so finding a safe place to take a dip proved to be no problem.

    Coming Back

A forty minte taxi ride took me to the airport and into a small lounge via a fairly efficient passport control and security check. Larnaca airport is not large but is quite new so it was not far to the gate when we were called.

The flight back was on a 767 which is distinctly old and tired. But we were on time and I easily met Brian for the trip home. But late in at just after midnight.

At 08.10h we heard the announcement that due to very bad weather in Paphos we were rerouted to Limassol. (I think I was the only one on board still sleeping at this time...) The good news however was, that we would only get there in the afternoon and would be able to set sail in the morning. So after a nice breakfast we went outside and watched the spectacle.
