    ... me half an hour to cut it away. Every time I hacked a bit more of it away I thought, stay calm, be patient.

    Finally, we were free and off we set again. By now we were looking for somewhere to moor and found a really nice spot. As we were tying up I was inwardly praising myself for my patience at clearing the prop, then the rope got tangled around my foot and an expletive passed my lips.

    Ah well, little steps.

    ... words to the effect "Do you know you're not supposed to moor here unless you are using the facilities?" "Facilities? (looks bemused). Hazel points out the notice and discovers he is a recently retired, very new boatowner. He turned out to be a very pleasant man and any grumpy thoughts we had about his 'thoughtlessness" disappeared.

    ... The Galleries of Justice is a museum in the old Nottingham criminal court, prison and dungeons. We went on a tour which started in the Court Room where an actor told us about the court itself and the process of the trails.
